Businessman Khachatur Sukiasyan could run for president in 2013, 168 Zham daily reports.
“Apparently, he is inspired by the example of Georgia where the billionaire leader of Georgian Dream party beat the ruling party in the parliamentary elections. Sukiasyan’s being presidential candidate would add unique interest to elections because large consolidation of parties and individuals could take place around him. Sukiasyan is on good terms with both opposition and pro-government forces and individuals,” the paper says.
