Vardan Vardanyan interrogated in National Library case - police
Armenia’s former Minister of Urban Development, PAP member Vardan Vardanyan has been interrogated as a witness in the criminal case investigated in the Investigation Division of Especially Important Cases of the General Investigation Division of the RA Police, the press service of police told Panorama.am.
Earlier today, Vardan Vardanyan denied this information to Panorama.am, noting that he had not been summoned for interrogation yet.
We will remind that the State Interests Protection Department of Armenian Prosecutor General’s Office has launched a criminal case on large-scale embezzlement of property and abuse of official position by an employee of a commercial organization during the major repairs of the National Library of Armenia.
The General Investigation Division of the RA Police is authorized to conduct preliminary investigation of the criminal case.
