Haykakan Zhamanak: Jivan Gasparyan wants a permanent statue
Statues of Jivan Gasparyan, Vache Hovsepyan and Levon Madoyan will be installed in Yerevan’s Abovyan Street in April of next year, Haykakan Zhamanak reports. The project of the statue complex called ‘Men’ by David Minasyan has been approved by Yerevan Mayor’s Office. The sculpture will be made from bronze and stone.
Jivan Gasparyan told the paper that he would not want his statue to be one of the clay statues which are installed in Yerevan recently. The famous duduk player noted he wants to have a permanent statue.
