Ramos rues ‘stupid’ draw against France
The Real Madrid player had given La Roja the lead midway through the first-half with a side-footed finish, but Olivier Giroud's header in the 93rd minute meant both sides took a point from the encounter.
"The goal was more our fault than the virtues of France, but no one is to blame for the draw," Ramos told AS after the final whistle.
"We feel a little stupid, especially as we had the three points in our hands. We had chances to score and then we failed to mark them [France]."
When asked about the injuries sustained by his two club team-mates Alvaro Arbeloa and Karim Benzema, he said: "Let's see what the doctors say. Hopefully it's nothing."
