168 Zham: Only Tsarukyan can be PAP candidate
During the last meeting with party’s high-ups, PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan ruled out that PAP could nominate Vartan Oskanian as a candidate for president, 168 Zham reports, citing its sources in PAP.
Tsarukyan said that only he can be PAP candidate, and he will not back any candidate. This was Tsarukyan’s response to Oskanian’s statement that if Tsarukyan does not run for president, he is ready to be PAP candidate. This statement by Tsarukyan made PAP members think that Gagik Tsarukyan will run for president without fail, the paper writes.
