Armenian church being reconstructed in Turkey
The Armenian church in the Vank village of Turkey’s Malatya province is being reconstructed on the initiative of Malatya provincial administration, Ermenihaber.am news website reported.
The President of the local Armenian community, Khosrov Kyoldevitoglu, hailed the importance of the church reconstruction. “Thanks to such initiatives, Malatya will become richer.”
A concrete construction near the church will be pulled down in the course of the reconstruction. The construction is presented as a mausoleum, but the point is that there is no image of it in the old photos of the church.
