Psychologist: We need positive, healthy ads
We still have too much to do in advertising, linguist Gagik Gyurjinyan told reporters in Yerevan.
According to him, we constantly hear advertising in Russian language, which is regarded as violation of law. Very often advertising in Armenian language is illiterate, with gross linguistic mistakes.
At the same time, he noted, we also have a lot of literate ads.
People who write texts for ads must be literate, he stressed.
Psychologist Samvel Khudoyan noted that the quality of advertising has improved in Armenia as compared to 10 years ago. However, he said, there are few good advertising specialists in Armenia.
Psychological factors are often disregarded while making ads, while the psychological aspect could help increase the influence of ads, said the psychologist.
We need positive, healthy ads, those which would advocate healthy lifestyle, Khudoyan noted.
Ads of sweets are excessive, which is bad for children, the psychologist noted. In return, the linguist said that ads of lotteries pose bigger danger than those of sweets.
We will remind that today is International Advertising Day.
