Hraparak: Debate on Law on General Education held in empty hall
The debate on one of the most important issues of Tuesday’s parliament session, Law on General Education, was held in an empty hall, while working on it had forced Education Minister Armen Ashotyan to spend two days in parliament, Hraparak reports.
The number of MPs present did not exceed 20.
“At the end of the debate, NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, attaching strategic importance to this issue, informed the few MPs who were present that they also plan to organize parliamentary hearings on this issue. The only problem that remains is to make quorum,” the paper writes.
