Aravot: Tigran Sargsyan offered position of Russian Central Bank deputy chairman
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has been offered the position of first deputy chairman of Russian Central Bank, Aravot reports. Several big bankers and businessmen lobby for Tigran Sargsyan’s appointment, including Gazprom chief Alexei Miller, who was his fellow student, President of the Finance and Banking Council of the CIS Andrey Kostin and others.
According to the paper, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev personally offered this position to Tigran Sargsyan during a meeting in Yalta.
