Hraparak: Ministry of Culture could move to Gyumri
The Armenian Ministry of Culture could move to Armenia’s second largest city of Gyumri, Hraparak writes. The discussion of this issue is underway. Such a decision, if it is made, has two aims: to unload the capital and to restore the color of one-time cultural city, the paper says.
However, given the fact that most of government officials reside in Yerevan, the plan is unlikely to be realized, the paper adds.
When contacted for comment on the matter, Ministry’s acting spokesperson said they have no official information at present.
