Zhoghovurd: PAP remains silent; Tsarukyan said nothing exact
Gagik Tsarukyan convened an enlarged meeting of PAP political board as he returned from abroad, Zhoghovurd writes. The meeting lasted several hours. According to the paper’s sources, Tsarukyan said nothing exact about his future plans. He only reassured those present that “everything will be ok, hold your own.” In response to a question by a co-partisan, PAP leader noted that if necessary and when the time comes, he will also meet with first President Levon Ter-Petrosyan but did not specify when it will be. None of the attendees dared to say in the presence of Tsarukyan that they should reject the tough struggle he was hinting at but after the meeting some former officials and businessmen complained that they don’t understand what is going on.
Zhoghovurd failed to receive any comment from members of PAP political board.
