One Armenian killed by sniper fire in Aleppo
One Armenian has been killed by sniper fire in Syria’s Aleppo, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tigran Balayan told Panorama.am. According to Armenian Foreign Ministry, he was identified as George Kabanjian, 32.
7 Armenians were abducted from bus en route from Beirut to Aleppo on Tuesday. The names of five of them are known: Garo Bambelian, Arsen Aroian, Levon Zeitunian, as well as Bashar and George Rabat.
More than 3 dozen Armenians have been killed in the Syrian conflict. They include 7 soldiers, 5 women, 26 men and one child, as reported by Armenian Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan a month ago. 5 Armenians have been killed in Damascus, 19 in Aleppo, 1 in Deir Ezzor, 1 in Kamishli and 2 in Mouss.
