Raffi Hovannisian: I will be candidate only once
If the upcoming presidential elections are the first free and fair elections since 1991, Armenia will have a new president or at least there will be serious competition, but if they are not, I am willing to lead the civil struggle to people’s victory, Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian told reporters, referring to the upcoming presidential elections.
“I will be candidate only once,” he added.
Earlier, we reported that Raffi Hovannisian announced today his intention to run for president in 2013.
The politician noted that he expects to get support from those who realize the necessity of implementation and declaration of national interests as well as the value of a person.
