Orange Armenia is 3 years old: company again has new offers for everyone

Today is the third anniversary since Orange launched its services in Armenia. Besides that, on this occasion the company summed up its achievements for the past 1 year, it also had some great news regarding voice and internet services to share with all and say that time has come to join Orange.

Since the beginning of its activities in Armenia Orange stimulated crucial changes in the country: the internet market was completely transformed, and a real competition started in the mobile market. This third year was a year of innovations and interesting initiatives for the company. In Armenia Orange launched the first 42.2 Mb/sec network in 3 big cities and 21.6 Mb/sec network throughout its coverage. The company had an unprecedented offer for voice customers – 30AMD/min roaming tariff in Russia. This year the market of smartphones was completely transformed thanks to special offers by Orange that made smartphones affordable for everyone. This year the company extended its WiFi internet coverage, and now all the buses of the new bus fleet of Yerevan public transport are furnished with WiFi internet. The works of the first Orange Book Prize winners were published this year, the first prizes of Armenian cinema were awarded with Orange sponsorship. This year, first in Armenia Orange implemented eco-labeling rating system. With the support of Orange Foundation more than 17,000 people underwent free eye screenings, and more than 1000 people - free eye surgeries.

“It has been already 3 years since Orange presence in Armenia. Orange has become part of everyday life of its 600.000 customers, thus everyday changing their life. It is no longer unusual to have high-speed internet in your pocket anywhere in Armenia, nor is it unusual to benefit from such roaming tariffs that are locally applicable or talk on phone with friends and relatives day and night: these have already become a usual thing for all our customers. Our goal is to change the life of each and every Orange customer. So, we call on those, who are not yet with Orange: it’s time to join us,” said Francis Gelibter, Orange Armenia CEO.

On the occasion of its 3rd anniversary the company launches a month of surprises and has 3 revolutionary offers for all.

The first offer is for voice customers. For exactly 1 month, until 5th of December, just by acquiring a Let’s Talk prepaid card or subscribing to either of Butterfly, Panther or Dolphin tariff plans for 12 or 24 months’ commitment, customers will be offered free platinum, gold, silver and bronze numbers. Thus, gold and platinum numbers can be acquired with a 12 or 24-months subscription. Silver and bronze numbers can be acquired by new customers, by just recharging the account with 1000 AMD. With this offer, it is possible also to get the existing non-Orange phone number with 055 or 095 prefixes.

The second offer is for internet customers and for those who are already with Orange, as well as for those who are still to join Orange. The company has substentially increased the bundles of high-speed internet included in all tariff plans. Besides, Orange is also offering to buy up to 21.6Mb/sec internet modem for 1 AMD by subscribing to 9,000 and higher tariff plans. As a reminder, Orange is the only operator offering up to 21Mbps network throughout its whole coverage in Armenia.

And finally, first in Armenia the company presented a revolutionary offer: combine voice and internet services and get regular discounts. By acquiring Orange Internet or MyFi and either of Butterfly, Panther or Dolphin tariff plans at a time, the customers will continuously get a discount up to 3000 AMD monthly, on a unique invoice. The offer is also available to existing customers who already have a voice and/or internet subscription.

“We have a good tradition of celebrating our anniversary together with all, by presenting new and attractive offers. Our offers for this year target as well at those, who are not yet with Orange and, however, expect to benefit from offers not yet presented by any other company. Free “gold” numbers, updated internet tariff plans and a solution of 2 combined services are the offers long-awaited by everyone. Our congratulations to all on the 3rd anniversary of Orange,” said Aram Mkrtchyan, Marketing Director of Orange Armenia.
