Abidal: My family and health are my priorities
"Football has been everything. Now, the most important thing for me is to be healthy. The objective is not to get back to playing. We have to see how it goes. There are things I will endure and others I won't. Family and health are my priorities". Comments made by Eric Abidal on French TV channel 'France 2'.
"I'm aware that there are a lot of people in the background when it comes to my illness; whether they’re people you know or don't know directly. I appreciate the efforts they have made. It's a great gift that will stay with me for life", added the French footballer who continues to recover from the liver transplant he underwent, according to Marca.com.
