Hraparak: Hovik Abrahamyan ‘insults’ Czechs
In his remarks at the meeting with Czech Senate president Milan Štěch, Armenian National Assembly speaker Hovik Abrahamyan twice said “Czechoslovakia” instead of “Czech Republic,” which insulted Czechs, Hraparak writes. They interrupted him twice and corrected him: “not Czechoslovakia but Czech Republic. Slovakia is a separate state now and Czechoslovakia no longer exists.”
“However, Hovik Abrahamyan is an old man, and the state of Czechoslovakia that existed in Soviet era is still alive in his memory,” the paper comments.
