Vice Chairman of Heritage party Armen Martirosyan thinks that the political divorce from Free Democrats party is likely to have an impact on the rating of Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian, but only in the initial period.

“I mean not the campaigning period but only these days. However, I think the situation will return to normal very soon. Everyone understands what took place,” said Armen Martirosyan, referring to a number of analyses and publications in which authors point out that the unification of Free Democrats party with Heritage party was to the detriment of Heritage.

However, Heritage Vice Chairman noted, the situation will improve during the upcoming presidential elections.

Also, Armen Martirosyan said he does not share the opinion that what took place between the two parties can be called a “divorce.”

“Let’s not speak of divorce because there had not been “marriage” as such. We regard this topic as closed,” he stressed.
