Zhoghovurd: Gagik Tsarukyan named Person of the Year in Moscow
Zhoghovurd daily has commented on the fact that PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan was named Person of the Year in Moscow on Thursday.
“The same title was also awarded to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev. What is noteworthy is that in case of three CIS countries, Presidents were given the title of Person of the Year, while in case of Armenia, this title was awarded to Gagik Tsarukyan,” the paper comments.
Speaking to Zhoghovurd, RPA vice chairman Galust Sahakyan said that he had learnt about it from the paper.
“I think it is something pleasant, and there cannot be a political motivation behind it,” he said.
The paper notes that according to lragir.am, Tsarukyan bought the title for $30,000.
