Shifting to parliamentary system wrong under circumstances - paper
“Shifting to parliamentary system of government would be wrong in a country which is in the condition of war, especially with the Armenian mentality… do you imagine what it would be like?” New Times (Nor Zhamanakner) party leader Aram Karapetyan told 168 Zham, while commenting on the proposal of shifting to parliamentary system of government.
According to him, shifting to parliamentary system would be wrong for several reasons: there is no intraparty democracy in Armenia, no democratic institutions, besides, parliamentarianism is in critical condition.
