Balotelli not leaving City
Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli is not planning to leave the club, despite failing to secure a regular first-team place under Roberto Mancini, his agent Mino Raiola has insisted, Footballzz.co.uk reported.
The Italy international was omitted from the Premier League champions' squad for their game against Tottenham at the weekend, with the manager favouring Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez ahead of Balotelli.
The 22-year-old's absence from the game on Sunday sparked rumours that he could be heading for an exit from Etihad, but Raiola denied such claims and stressed that Balotelli is happy at the club.
"He doesn't want to leave," Raiola told reporters.
"There's no player who is ever happy with not playing in a game, but he accepts it. It's all part of the game."
"There is no [transfer to] Italy and no plans to go there. He'll work until the end of his contract. [Sunday’s omission] doesn't mean he wants to leave Manchester."
