Haykakan Zhamanak: NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan takes unexpected vacation
Armenian National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan is taking a vacation from November 14-21, which he will spend abroad, Haykakan Zhamanak reports, citing parliament’s website.
“It is not known where Abrahamyan is going to spend his vacation. It is only known that his vacation will last until November 21. Serzh Sargsyan is also on vacation, which he will spend abroad and which will last until November 20-21.
NA Speaker’s leave is unexpected and illogical. It is not ruled out that Serzh Sargsyan, who is abroad, called him urgently and the NA Speaker had nothing else to do but to leave in the middle of the four-day parliamentary session. It is not known why Serzh Sargsyan should have called Hovik Abrahamyan. However, it is noteworthy that they will return to Armenia together,” the paper writes.
