Mher Shahgeldyan: It’s difficult to predict who will be common opposition candidate
Currently I see no processes aimed at the nomination of a common candidate, Orinats Yerkir Party parliamentary faction secretary Mher Shahgeldyan told a news conference in Yerevan while commenting on the possibility of nomination of a common opposition candidate for the upcoming presidential elections in Armenia.
It is difficult to predict who will be the common opposition candidate, Shahgeldyan said, “because even the opposition political forces do not know it.”
Mher Shahgeldyan added that it is also impossible to predict which way Prosperous Armenia Party will choose and if this party will remain committed to the memoranda signed.
“I think it is up to this party to decide whether or not to keep to the documents signed,” he concluded.
