Free Democrats party still uncertain about nominating Anush Sedrakyan as its candidate for president
Discussions are underway in Free Democrats party regarding nomination of party’s vice chair Anush Sedrakyan as its candidate for president, Anush Sedrakyan told a news conference in Yerevan.
“Being a liberal party seeking to consolidate all liberal forces, Free Democrats Party certainly was to discuss nomination of a female candidate for president. The discussions are underway. When we make a decision, we will make it public,” she noted.
Member of RPA parliamentary faction Artak Davtyan, for his part, said that he welcomes the idea of nominating a female candidate for president.
