VivaCell-MTS, a subsidiary of “Mobile TeleSystems” OJSC, gladly announces hosting the presentation of the database for Digital Resources website (http://lib.armedu.am) at the headquarters of the Company. The website was created with financial support by VivaCell-MTS.

Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia Armen Ashotyan, VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian, as well as representatives of organizations implementing programs in the fields of education, information, and communication participated in the event.

The creation of electronic learning resources is aimed at providing continuous development in introducing IT technologies in the field of education, providing rich electronic content and creating a shared platform of learning and teaching resources.

The website rooms classified educational, learning, and teaching electronic resources of various levels in an array of disciplines, making those resources available to educators, teachers/instructors, students and other users.

“Knowledge, besides being an instrument for the development of a person, is a symbol of responsibility. Each person educates himself to be useful for the environment and his/her country. I want to believe that the Database for Digital Resources will serve its goal and will become a good tool for research without consuming much time,” noted VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian.
