Inter not to sign any new players in January
Inter Milan technical director Marco Branca has admitted they are unlikely to sign any new players in the January transfer window, Sky Sports reported.
The Italian giants have been linked with a move for former star Mario Balotelli as doubts surround the future of the striker at Manchester City.
Inter are currently in Serie A, but Branca concedes the current economic climate means they will not be spending any money when the transfer window reopens in the new year.
"It's not down to where we are in the table but there are other factors to consider, but at this moment in time there's no way we'll be investing in January for other reasons," Branca told the club's official website.
"It's the same situation in many other industry sectors. We're in an economic crisis."
