Armenian police chief: None of us is insured against drugs
I would like each of us to consider illicit drug trafficking catastrophic. This is something like the defense of our borders in the proper sense of this word, Armenian police chief Vladimir Gasparyan said during a regular meeting of the interdepartmental commission on prevention of illicit trafficking in drugs and psychotropic substances.
Unless police are principled in fighting against illicit drug trafficking, the situation will worsen year by year, according to the police chief.
“Even if this problem does not concern us, it may concern our neighbors, brothers, sisters. None of us is insured against it,” he added.
