Hraparak: Tsarukyan likely to announce his candidacy today
Radio Liberty reported on Wednesday that PAP leader will be named candidate for president by Prosperous Armenia Party in the coming days, Hraparak daily writes, adding that PAP parliamentary faction secretary Naira Zohrabyan said it to Radio Liberty in an interview.
Several hours later, Radio Liberty replaced this report on its website with another one with the following heading: “It will be decided soon who will represent PAP in the presidential elections.” The accents were changed in the new report, which said that “PAP has no decision yet on format of participation in the elections.”
Following a meeting of PAP political council on Wednesday evening, rumors spread suggesting that Tsarukyan will announce his candidacy today, the paper writes.
