Turkmenistan’s President to pay official visit to Armenia
At the invitation of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will pay an official visit to Armenia today, November 29.
As part of his visit to Armenia, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will meet President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, Speaker of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
The parties are expected to sign documents aimed at the development and deepening of cooperation in a number of areas.
The President of Turkmenistan will visit Holy See of Etchmiadzin and meet His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will meet students and lecturers at Yerevan State University.
He will also visit Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts (Matenadaran), presidential press service reported.
