José Manuel Barroso visits Matenadaran
President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso continues his official visit to Armenia.
The European official today visited Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts – Matenadaran, where he was familiarized with the Institute’s activities and its fund.
In his remarks, Barroso said that the role of this scientific and cultural institution is significant in the international arena.
At the end of the visit, the sides exchanged presents.
José Manuel Barroso then headed to the Presidential Palace.
