Below we present an interview with FC Shakhtar midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, posted on the official FC Shakhtar website, where Mkhitaryan shares his impressions after the game with Juventus.

- Henrikh, what do you make of this encounter and of the overall performance in the Champions League?

- We can say that except for the last match we played well in the current Champions League edition. We could draw it, but as it turned out we’d scored an own goal. Nothing can be done. The team played, wanted to achieve a good result, but something was missing at the last moment.

- Did Juventus deserve to win tonight?

- I think a draw would be more logical.

- Why was it so hard for you to create goal-scoring chances?

- Probably, the mental fatigue told on us.

- You were often battered by the opposition in this match. Were they overly tough?

- Well, it's football, and injuries are part of it. I wouldn’t say that Juventus are a very tough team.

- What are your plans for the winter break?

- So far, I will have some rest in Yerevan, and then we'll see.

- Was this defeat hard to accept psychologically? Well, you actually topped the table just before that.

- The most important thing is that we’ve already made it to the last 16. And now, we will continue to give our all to progress from the last 16 to the last 8.
