Serzh Sargsyan meets with Vladimir Putin in Ashgabat
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan attended the CIS leaders’ summit in Ashgabat on Wednesday, December 5, presidential press service said.
In a narrow and then in an enlarged format heads of CIS delegations discussed and adopted about two dozen documents regarding expansion of cooperation in economic and humanitarian fields, as well as those ensuring security and cooperation in a range of other areas.
The next summit of CIS leaders was arranged to be held in October 2013 in Minsk.
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with Russian President Vladimir Putin as part of the CIS leaders’ summit in Ashgabat. The leaders discussed a range of issues related to Armenian-Russian strategic relations.
