Armenia, Switzerland set to intensify mutually beneficial cooperation
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met on Thursday Secretary of State at the Swiss Foreign Ministry Yves Rossier, Armenian Foreign Ministry’s press service reported.
Armenian FM Nalbandian noted that mutual visits of the two countries’ leaders, permanent contacts between the two Foreign Ministers and active inter-parliamentary cooperation contributed to the development of cooperation between the two countries.
Yves Rossier, for his part, said that Switzerland gave importance to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation with Armenia, which was the main goal of his visit.
The sides also discussed a wide range of issues related to expansion of bilateral cooperation, exchanged views about cooperation within international organizations as well as about ways of developing trade and economic cooperation.
The interlocutors further discussed regional and international security issues.
Edward Nalbandian presented Armenia’s position on Karabakh and dwelt on the latest developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.
