Armenia lacks professional agronomists
The problem with the veterinarians in rural cities is solved. Around 650 communities have got their own veterinarian but not all the towns have their own agronomists yet, said Garnik Petrosyan, RA Deputy Minister of Agriculture, today.
According to the speaker, this problem is worrying, however, the lack of agronomists is conditioned with the lack of corresponding professionals. Petrosyan noted that in many regions the responsibilities of agronomists take up people who have other profession.
“The directions the Ministry of Agriculture makes undertake some sport institutions, NGOs because there is no person in the regions who would give a good peace of advice,” the Deputy Minister said.
