Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan meets with Foreign Ministers of Poland, Sweden and Bulgaria
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met on Friday visiting Foreign Ministers of Poland, Sweden and Bulgaria, Radosław Sikorski, Carl Bildt and Nikolay Mladenov, Armenian government’s press service said.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the course and development prospects of Armenia-EU relations.
They noted with satisfaction that Armenia and EU will sign agreement on visa regime facilitation on December 17, 2012.
Referring to the upcoming presidential elections in Armenia, Tigran Sargsyan stated that the Armenian authorities are willing to hold them in full compliance with international democratic norms.
The sides also discussed Karabakh issue. Tigran Sargsyan said that Armenia seeks peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict within the OSCE Minsk Group format, however, Azerbaijan is not ready for constructive talks and tries to fail the negotiations. The Azerbaijani authorities are increasing their arm supplies and are preparing society for war, said the Armenian PM.
“The international community should state exact position in this issue through some international document stipulating that international sanctions will be imposed on the state which takes steps towards settling Karabakh conflict by use of force,” said Tigran Sargsyan.
