NSS denies eavesdropping allegations
Artsvin Baghramyan, a spokesperson for Armenia's National Security Service (NSS), denies the allegations of NSS’s involvement in eavesdropping a conversation between members of Prosperous Armenia and Armenian National Congress parliamentary factions Vartan Oskanian and Levon Zurabyan.
“I deny this information. NSS cannot be involved in eavesdropping and placing the conversation on the Web. All accusations are false and ungrounded,” said the spokesperson.
Levon Zurabyan stated earlier that NSS had eavesdropped their conversation following an order from the authorities.
“I think law enforcement bodies should make efforts to reveal and hold responsible those who recorded and spread this conversation,” Vartan Oskanian said earlier.
