Turkish Education Minister visits Armenian college
Omer Dincer, Turkey's National Education Minister has informed the national minorities of country that those who study at Turkish educational institutions may take religion classes according to their interests and abilities.
“The students may freely get education about their religion. We do our best to inform the students about their religion,” said Omer Dincer according to Sondakika news site.
The Minister of Education has visited the Pangalt Armenian Nursery School, secondary school and college. Hear during his speech Minister has mentioned that they are doing everything to create peaceful atmosphere among the population and towards each other. After the speech made by the minister the project “Brotherhood of languages” kicked off. During the project the choir of the school presented songs in Armenian and Turkish languages.
