French envoy enjoys Armenian cuisine
French ambassador to Armenia Henri Reynaud likes Armenian cuisine, he said during a meeting with students at School No. 78 in response to a student’s question.
“I like some Armenian food products,” said the ambassador, naming Armenian apricots among them.
“You will not find such delicious apricots in France.”
Henri Reynaud also likes dried fruits. He likes dishes made of mutton as well as Sevan trout ('ishkhan').
“I very much like Armenian spas (yoghurt soup),” noted the ambassador.
The French envoy added that he liked hospitable tables in Armenia, particularly vases with fruits of various colors.
