Iranian President’s media adviser to return to prison today
Iranian President's media adviser, Ali Akbar Javanfekr, is to return to prison today, Tehran’s prosecutor, Jafari Dolatabadi, told reporters, Iran’s semi-official news agency Fars reported.
When asked if Javanfekr’s leave will be extended, Tehran’s prosecutor said that he would return to prison today.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s top press adviser, Managing Director of IRNA News Agency, Ali Akbar Javanfekr, was taken into custody on September 27 to begin serving a six-month jail sentence after being convicted of publishing material deemed insulting to the country’s supreme leader.
