Hrant Bagratyan denies having problems with Levon Ter-Petrosyan
“Nothing has changed and I think nothing will change in my relationship with Levon Ter-Petrosyan,” Hrant Bagratyan, who froze his membership in ANC, said in his speech at the Liberty party’s convention today.
He said that he would try so that his and Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s ways would not cross, and that he ran for president for the purpose of uniting liberal forces.
“I see no one else who can do it. I have no ambitions and I do not seek a position,” said Bagratyan, pointing out to the representatives of the political forces who were invited to the convention and who were attending it.
He also mentioned the parties that were not invited to the convention. “I beg pardon from Heritage, ARF Dashnaktsutyun and Orinats Yerkir, but I thought it expedient to invite to our convention representatives of parties that make part of ANC or cooperate with it.”
