Another six presidential candidates
Head of Passport and Visa Department of RA Police Hovhannes Kocharyan told Haykakan Zhamanak that yesterday alone, six people received a certificate stating they have been permanent residents of Armenia during the past ten years.
This certificate is required for being nominated as presidential candidate. Those receiving certificates are: head of Armenia's National Press Club Narine Mkrtchyan, Radio Hay director Andreas Ghukasyan, National Self-Determination Union leader Paruyr Hayrikyan, Heritage leader Raffi Hovannisian, Liberty party leader Hrant Bagratyan and Mher Hayrapetyan. The latter is a physicist and it is not known why he runs for president, the paper writes.
