Aghvan Vardanyan candidate for president
“Haykakan Zhamanak” daily writes, “At the supreme meeting the Armenian Revolutionary Federation has decided in which format the party will participate in the presidential elections. The decision was secret. However, at the evening, there were already some rumors that the ARF has decided to propose candidacy of Aghvan Vardanyan for the presidential elections. We will learn today, how serious those rumors are. ARF will state about its decision today at the press conference. It’s worth mentioning that they were talking mainly about Armen Rustamyan’s candidacy in ARF. The boycott was not excluded as well.”
