CEC to decide on registration of eight candidates
Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission (CEC) will meet today to consider the documents of candidates for the February 18 presidential elections.
According to the official site of CEC, the Commission sent this notification to eight candidates who have not submitted a complete set of documents. They are:
Taron Abrahamyan
Robert Aharonyan
Ruben Ayvazyan
Mher Hayrapetyan
Aram Harutyunyan
Narine Mkrtchyan
Pavlik Sargsyan
Robert Simonyan
We reported earlier that eight candidates had not paid an election pledge of AMD 8 million and had not submitted a complete set of documents necessary for registration and therefore they face the risk of not being registered.
