Earthquakes strike Turkey
According to Turkish media reports, two earthquakes were felt in the territory of Turkey early this morning. No casualties and damages are reported yet.
Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute, Bogazici University, reports that the earthquakes measuring 4.4 and 4.7 on the Richter scale occurred in the Tut district of Turkey’s Adiyaman province.
Adiyaman is a province in the south-east of Turkey, in the territory of historic Armenia. There was a city of the same name in Western Armenia.
