Ivanishvili vows to keep election promises with regard to Georgian-Armenians
Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili arrived in Yerevan today. At a meeting with reporters, he was asked what the Armenian community could expect from the Georgian government because the majority of Georgian-Armenians voted for Ivanishvili’s Georgian Dream party and for his election program and the Georgian Prime Minister gave promises to the Armenian community during the election campaign.
Ivanishvili said that he had many Armenian friends both in Georgia and beyond.
“I heard interesting proposals from Armenians,” said the Georgian PM, adding that the ball is in their field. “We should do everything possible to justify the expectations of the Armenians.”
“The Georgian government will do everything possible so that Georgian-Armenians feel like in their homeland. I will keep my election promises,” said the Georgian premier.
