Zhoghovurd: Gas prices to go up
There is a final decision on gas prices for Armenia, Zhoghovurd reports, citing well-informed sources. According to an agreement with Gazprom, Armenia will pay $240 for 1,000 cu m of gas instead of $180 starting April 1, 2013. The agreement has already been worked out and it only remains to make it public, the paper says. In all probability, it will be made public after the presidential elections. At the same time, according to the paper, Armenian Energy Ministry continues to assert that there is no clarity over gas prices and the negotiations are not over yet, while the Minister himself avoids meeting the media.
