Campaign kicks off
Today the RA Presidential elections will kick off. The campaign will last till February 16. February 17 is a day of silence and the February 18 is the vote day.
There are 8 civilians left for the struggle for the presidential office; they are: Hrant Bagratyan, head of Liberty Party, Paruyr Hayrikyan, head of National Self-Determination Union, Raffi Hovhannisyan, head of Heritage party, Arman Melikyan, former NKR FM, Aram Harutyunyan, head of National Consent Party, Vardan Sedrakyan, Armenian Epic poetry expert, Andrias Ghukasyan, director of Ardio Hay company and Serzh Sargsyan, the leader of Republican Party of Armenia, the current president of the country.
It is known that Raffi Hovhannisyan will have his first meeting with his electorate today at the statue of A. Khachatryan. Andrias Ghukasyan will start his first campaign day by promised hunger strike. RPA leader, within campaign frameworks, will have his first meeting with his electorate in Avan administrative region. Some of the candidates have stated that they will not leave for regions.
