Raffi Hovannisian has stated that he will visit presidential candidate Andrias Ghukasyan who is on a hunger strike near the National Academy of Sciences building. Iravunk’s correspondent asked Heritage parliamentary faction member Tevan Poghosyan if Mr Hovannisian has understood that his hunger strike was useless and, in view of his unsuccessful experience, he wants to make Ghukasyan also understand it. 

“I think there is no issue of unsuccessful experience. Raffi Hovannisian did not have the same objectives as Andrias. Through his hunger strike and his idea, Raffi Hovannisian proved that he stands by those Armenians who face bad living conditions. He lived such kind of life and proved that he is one of them. In this respect, I would not say that Raffi Hovannisian’s experience is unsuccessful,” Poghosyan was quoted as saying.
