Armenians made excellent contribution to development of Iranian culture - Iranian intellectuals
The Armenians made an excellent contribution to the development of the Iranian culture, ISNA quoted the director of Iranian Artists Forum as saying during an event held as part of the week of Armenian culture in Iran.
Majid Sarsangi noted that Armenians were able to nicely combine their cultural peculiarities with those of Iran.
Another Iranian intellectual, Ariasb Dadbeh, highly evaluating the contribution made by the Armenians to the development of the Iranian culture, said, in part, “It is impossible to study the history of Iranian culture without studying the history of Armenian culture. It is impossible to forget the role of the Armenians in the period of enlightenment and cultural developments of modern era.”
