OSCE Minsk Group does important job: PACE President Mignon not to restore activities of PACE subcommittee on Karabakh
PACE subcommittee on Karabakh whose activities were restored during the presidency of former PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu does not in essence operate, PACE President Jean-Claude Mignon told reporters, a Panorama.am correspondent reported from Strasbourg.
PACE President noted that he has periodical meetings on Karabakh with the heads of the Armenian and Azerbaijani delegations, and that these meetings are not official and public.
“I do not want to restore the activities of the subcommittee on Karabakh just for the reason that the OSCE Minsk Group does a very important job in conflict settlement,” Mr Mignon said, adding that he trusts the OSCE Minsk Group.
