Second day of election campaign: Three of presidential candidates to give press conferences
Today is the second day of the election campaign. On the first day, only three of the candidates - leaders of the RPA, Liberty party and Heritage party – held campaign rallies.
Three of the candidates - National Self-Determination Union leader Paruyr Hayrikyan, former NKR Foreign Minister Arman Melikyan and National Consent party leader Aram Harutyunyan - will meet with reporters today. Specialist in epic studies Vardan Sedrakyan met with reporters yesterday. He has no public event scheduled for today. Liberty party leader Hrant Bagratyan either does not have any meeting for today.
Andrias Ghukasyan continues his hunger strike near the National Academy of Sciences building. The launch ceremony of Raffi Hovannisian’s official website, www.raffi4president.am, will take place today.
Incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan has left for Syunik region, where he will hold campaign rallies on January 22 and 23. After, he will visit Vayots Dzor region.
